Roadmap

In its initial phase (private Beta), Blocknode will primarily serve the LimeWire file sharing platform. LimeWire file sharing was launched in December 2024 and has since experienced significant growth in terms of usage, from 250,000 monthly user sessions to almost 4,000,000 in June 2025.

As of Q2 2025, LimeWire file sharing alone processed:

• 400+ TB of continuously stored data
• 14 million new objects/month totaling ~1 PB
• Bandwidth spikes up to 10 Gbit/s

This will make Blocknode one of the largest decentralized storage networks at launch, with immediate real-world utility and millions of users from day one.
